LEE Idzi will stay between the sticks for Bangor City after working out a deal with the club to play in Australia in the summer.
Club chairman Dilwyn Jones confirmed that Idzi, 23, would stay with the Blues for rest of the WPL campaign and would return after a spell with Australian side Manley FC during the summer break.
Idzi was contracted until the end of April, but the former Haverfordwest and Neath keeper Idzi will now return in time for the start of the next campaign, dependent on whether the Blues qualify for Europe.
"The outcome is great for both the player and us. What we wanted is continuity and that's what we've got," Mr Jones said.
Former Wrexham defender Shaun Pejic, who joined the Citizens last summer, has been released by mutual consent as he plans to move to Canada.
Former TNS and Rhyl keeper Paul Smith will also leave the Citizens in a bid for first team football, after joining Nev Powell's side in 2007.
Meanwhile, midfielder Eddie Jebb and striker John Owen, who has just finished a spell with Llangefni Town, will both be loaned out to Cymru Alliance outfit Conwy United.
