PART of the A55 carriageway was closed in the early hours of this morning as emergency services dealt with a lorry which had caught fire.
Both lanes of the A55 Westbound, prior to the J16 Puffin Roundabout near Penmaenmawr, had to be closed just before 7.30am as smoke could be seen billowing out of the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said they did attend the incident, but nobody was hurt.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue added: "Crews from Conwy and Llanfairfechan were called to a vehicle fire on the A55W Penmaenmawr at 07.26. Stop received 08.18.
Traffic Wales said the carriageway was fully re-opened by just after 8am.
