Daniel reilly, 58, of Holyhead was jailed for six months yesterday.

A 58-year-old man who took pictures of a woman while she was asleep was
jailed for for six months yesterday.

A jury found Daniel Reilly, a store worker at Iceland, guilty of voyeurism but cleared him of sexual assault at Caernarfon crown court. He'd claimed he took the 30
photographs on his mobile phone as "a bit of a laugh".

Judge Niclas Parry told Reilly at Caernarfon crown court : "This was a
serious violation of that lady's privacy. You entered the room while she was
asleep and having made sure she was sleeping took these photographs for your
sexual gratification."

A seven-year restraining order was imposed preventing any contact with her
and he must sign the sex offenders' register.

Kim Halsall, defending, said Reilly, of Moreton Road. Holyhead, was a hard
worker but was now likely to lose his job. ENDS
